The church is attached to an ancient Romanesque bell tower and a lovely cloister.
Parco Giovanni Paolo II
This green space is a peaceful spot in the city, known for its wide lawns, tall trees, and chill atmosphere. It’s a favorite place for locals to relax, walk, or just hang out with friends. The park is also called “Parco delle Basiliche” because it’s right between two famous churches.
Arco di Porta Romana
This historic arch is one of the oldest city gates, built in the late 16th century. It was once the main entrance for travelers coming from the south. The structure stands as a reminder of the city’s ancient walls and has seen centuries of change.
